Designer Gene Program Feedback
The
quality of mares on offer are beyond what a
'general' person [such as myself] could ever afford,
such as the lovely imported mare on your website
boasting some of America's top pleasure lines ......
It takes time, dedication and commitment to select
these quality mares and then to allow clients to
breed to their preferred stallion ..... it's
fantastic!
In all honesty, how many times have people seen a
foal and thought, if I had that mare / stallion I
would have used a different mare / stallion! I know
I have!
I also like the 'involvement' of being able to
select the mare / sire .... even though you are not
'breeding' the foal it gives the client a feeling of
being part of the process to create your next
champion!
These are only my opinions..... but I would be
interested in hearing what other horse people
thought about "designer programs' as well :)
Congrats on being a leader in the breeding
industry Coliban!

Coliban Quarter Horses would like

Coliban Quarter Horses would like to announce the
arrival of a special foal, Bindi. Our mare Bunny who
sustained a terrible and crippling leg injury last
year, has surprisingly given birth to a beautiful red
roan filly by Tru Blu Texan. Unbeknown to us, Bunny
some how got her self pregnant and managed to carry
the foal full term despite her crippling injury. No
wonder she never came into season even though she was
given a PG injection to facilitate a live breeding.

Coliban Quarter Horses American resident mare,
SHEEZA FAST KID by FAST SMASH (AAAT, dec),
who is in foal to DASH FOR PERKS, has had her
unborn foal sex checked and was found to be
carrying a filly. As we are hoping to obtain a
colt from the above breeding that we can then
import to Australia to stand at stud, we
have decided to leave her in the states to foal
and will rebreed her back to Dash For Perks after
she foals.

In early April,
MISS PLENTIFUL BARS (imp) foaled a beautiful filly by
ZIPPOS MR GOOD BAR. These latest photo's were taken at
2.5 months of age and already she stands at over 12hh.
Showing great bone and good length of leg, we
gleefully await seeing this wonderful filly grow.

Coliban Quarter Horses American resident mare, SHEEZA
FAST KID by FAST SMASH (AAAT, dec), is safely in foal
to DASH FOR PERKS and will hit Australian soil in
early September. Fast Smash is double bred Easy
Jet and Jet Deck breeding. He is a son of World
Champion, Easily Smashed, by World Champions Easy Jet
and Jet Deck. Fast Smash earned a speed index of 111
with his race record of 56 starts, 19 wins, 6 seconds,
6 thirds and amassing earnings of $58,662. He earned
386 AmQHA race points, a Superior in Racing, ROM in
Racing and set a new track record in 1989 over 400
yards of 20.17 seconds.
